Based in the Melbourne office, Steve Schuurmans joined the
executive team of Maurice Blackburn as Chief Operating Officer
in May 2007. Steve is the 2-I-C in the leadership of the executive
team and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board
on specific projects.
Prior to joining the firm, Steve held the same title at Minter
Ellison Lawyers South Australia / Northern Territory, and prior to
that held senior HR roles in professional services and tertiary
education sectors.
He brings a strong background in commercial and general management
to the firm.
