Tina Vecchio is the Practice Group Manager of the National Major
Projects department and is based in Melbourne.
Tina is responsible for the day to day administration and
co-ordination of the Major Projects department.
Tina commenced working at Maurice Blackburn in 2000 and has
worked exclusively in the Major Projects department. From 2000 to
2003 she was the co-ordinator of the GIO class action which was at
that time the largest ever class action settlement in
Australian legal history. Tina was responsible for the
administrative procedures involved in running this case, and was
client liaison for over 22,000 clients.
Previously, Tina worked as a Solicitor in Queensland,
predominantly in the areas of personal injuries litigation,
conveyancing and business law until 1998 when she moved to
Melbourne. She then worked as a lawyer and specialised in major
project litigation at another leading plaintiff law firm.
Tina completed her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1991, achieving
Honours in Law.
