Barry Lipp is an experienced litigator with a successful track
record of conducting complex and large-scale proceedings. He
is currently working on the Multiplex and NAB class
actions.
Prior to joining Maurice Blackburn, Barry conducted the largest
proceedings of its kind in the Victorian Civil Administrative
Tribunal, run as a test case in advance of over 100 separate
claims.
Barry has also acted in several landmark cases in the areas of
equity and trusts, taxation and insolvency before the Supreme Court
of Victoria, the Victorian Court of Appeal and the High Court of
Australia, and has acted in shareholders' disputes, large project
disputes and international trade law cases.
Barry has appeared as counsel before the Victorian Supreme Court
and Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court.
