Enrico Burgio is a Lawyer in the Employment and Industrial
Law practice of Maurice Blackburn.
Enrico represents employees, including public sector employees,
white and blue collar workers and trade union members, in relation
to a wide range of employment law issues. He advises on
matters including breach of contract, redundancy, unfair dismissal,
general protections, discrimination, sexual harassment and
disciplinary matters.
Enrico assists employees in understanding their rights and
entitlements and navigating through the many laws, industrial
awards and collective agreements that may apply to their
employment. He provides practical and meaningful advice to
employees on this complex and ever-changing area of
law.
He has previously worked in employment and discrimination law for
the Employment Law Centre of WA Inc. and the Equal Opportunity
Commission of Western Australia. While at university, Enrico
served as the State President of the National Union of Students and
as a student representative on the UWA Senate.
Enrico is currently a member of the Law Institute of
Victoria, the Australian Labour Law Association and the Australian
Lawyers Alliance.
