Kimi Nishimura is a Lawyer in the Major Projects department of
our Melbourne office. She is currently working on the Kilmore
East-Kinglake Bushfire class action.
Kimi previously worked on the Air Cargo cartel class action, the
Aristocrat shareholder class action and in the area of road
accident injuries. She is committed to fighting for the
rights of victims of corporate misconduct and to pursuing
compensation on behalf of her clients.
Prior to joining Maurice Blackburn, Kimi worked as Research
Associate to the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria
and as a Legal Assistant in a large Japanese commercial law
firm. Outside of work, Kimi is an active community legal
centre volunteer and a member of the Australian Lawyers
Alliance.
Kimi is fluent in French and Italian and can speak intermediate
level Japanese.
