Liberty Sanger is a Principal and Director of Maurice
Blackburn.
She is a Law Institute of Victoria accredited specialist in
personal injury law and practises exclusively in the areas of
WorkCover and common law - she's passionate about workplace safety
and workers' rights.
Liberty is a board member of the Emergency Services and State
Super Fund.
She is the former Chair of the Liquor Control Advisory
Council and the Media Code of Conduct Working Group on Body Image,
and a former Director of Federation Square Pty Ltd. She has
also formerly held board directorships with YWCA Victoria and the
Victoria Law Foundation.
Media experience
Liberty has been a panellist on 'The Friday Wrap' with
Jon Faine on ABC 774 for six years and appears regularly on the
ABC's News 24 channel providing insightful commentary around the
'news of the day' as part of the Breakfast Show program.
Liberty possesses an excellent knowledge of politics, current
affairs and social issues and is adept at using humour to make her
views known.
