Mandy Bede is a Law Institute of Victoria accredited specialist
in personal injury law, with more than 15 years experience in
medical negligence litigation.
She is based in the Ringwood office but also sees clients
in Melbourne, Lilydale and Box
Hill.
Her recent cases include:
- surgical complications such as infection, haemorrhage and
death;
- adults and children with brain injury due to birth trauma,
wrong medication and surgical complications;
- problems caused by misdiagnosis by general practitioners and
hospital accident and emergency departments;
- misdiagnosis of cancer; and
- failure to provide proper advice on imaging such as ultrasound
and x-ray.
She has also done work for people with complaints about dental
work, chiropractors and psychiatric care.
Mandy is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance, Law Institute
of Victoria, Victorian Women Lawyers, Maurice Blackburn's Women's
Law Section and the Australian Services Union.
