The Tecoma 8 protest ban - legal update
27 August 2013Maurice Blackburn acts pro-bono for a number of people who have protested against the construction of a 24-hour McDonalds fast food outlet in Tecoma in outer Melbourne.
The scope of this representation is in relation to defending the Supreme Court proceedings, including the application for a permanent injunction; in particular, seeking to have the scope of the Injunction limited.
The Supreme Court of Victoria has reserved a decision about an injunction affecting protesters at the site of a proposed McDonalds fast food restaurant in Tecoma. The matter is back before Justice Kyrou on September 20, 2013.
