Greg Spinda is an experienced personal injury compensation Principal Lawyer in Maurice Blackburn’s Brisbane office and a member of the Serious Injury Team (QLD). He helps people throughout the greater Brisbane area with compensation claims and associated legal advice related to workers’ compensationroad accident compensation and public liability claims.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Management from Queensland University of Technology, Greg gained experience in a small Queensland firm before joining Maurice Blackburn in December 2017.

“I enjoy working with our clients and explaining the big picture of how best to progress a claim so that they feel confident I am doing the best to maximise the outcome quickly," says Greg.

“It’s important to use plain English so that our clients understand what is happening and what is involved in their case.

“I find it very rewarding to negotiate and persist with insurance companies to ensure people get the compensation they deserve.”

Greg is currently completing his Masters of Law, specialising in health law. His area of study is the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the National Injury Insurance Scheme.

A family man who enjoys hiking, kayaking and camping, Greg is also professionally involved in the legal community as Australian Lawyers Alliance Queensland branch secretary, and Queensland Law Society Practice Management Course Committee deputy chair.
