Clarissa Gamble is Maurice Blackburn’s National Talent Manager. She is based in our Southport office in Queensland.
Clarissa is an HR professional who is focused, dedicated, approachable, reliable and down-to-earth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in psychology, and has 12 years’ experience across a number of industries including legal, IT, insurance, retail and banking.
Clarissa genuinely cares about the wellbeing and development of staff members and was attracted to HR as a way to interact, engage and be involved with people every day.
“Working in HR at Maurice Blackburn provides me with an opportunity to focus on recruiting, engaging and developing our staff to provide amazing support and assistance to our clients,” says Clarissa.
“The diverse locations that our offices are located in, along with the many areas of law, makes it challenging to recruit, engage and develop our staff. State/office location differences vary, which means the initiatives I implement need to match the location.
“I’m inspired by seeing staff grow and develop personally and professionally. The culture at the firm is one that supports HR and its staff and that’s super important to me. Clarissa was our HR Manager for Victoria from 2010-2013, before leaving to gain experience further afield. She returned in January 2016, and is enjoying living in the Top End and providing HR services to our non-Eastern states.
