Anna Morgan is a Senior Associate in Maurice Blackburn's Queensland practice, based in Southport on the Gold Coast. She helps clients with workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accident and public liability claims.
Anna is passionate about of the pursuit of justice and is dedicated to assisting clients to achieve solutions and outcomes through pursuing their legal rights and remedies.
“When I started studying, I undertook studies in Law and Psychology. I decided to become a lawyer as I came to realise that practicing law would provide a more concrete way to solve problems for people. I enjoy reaching for tangible outcomes – and then securing those outcomes for my clients,” says Anna.
Anna has practiced in personal injury law for over 13 years and has litigated in a range of courts including Queensland's Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and District Court, the Federal Court, the High Court of Australia and the High Court of Hong Kong.
“I have found that working with injured clients is immensely rewarding for me. Helping hurt and vulnerable people get their life back on track is a privilege. Resolving a client’s case, and watching them transformed from despair to relief and optimism, truly makes my day.”
In addition to her work at Maurice Blackburn, Anna is an Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Bond University where she has authored and lectures the Masters subject Expert Evidence and Dispute Resolution. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
