Charlotte Campbell is a personal injuries lawyer in Maurice Blackburn’s Strathpine office. She helps people with compensation claims if they were injured at work, in a traffic accident, or on public property.
Charlotte holds Honours in Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
Charlotte was admitted to practice in 2014 and prides herself on having an open and friendly style with clients. She provides legal advice in a way that makes it easy for people trying to navigate the legal system under difficult circumstances.
“What I enjoy about my work is thinking strategically about cases to obtain the best outcome for my clients so they get the money they need to help with their medical and other expenses, and to pay their wages while they rehabilitate and can’t work,” says Charlotte.
“I also like to see an organisation or person who injured my client change the way they do things to prevent further problems for others.”
Charlotte is a keen observer of politics and is an active volunteer in many organisations outside work, including as a volunteer lawyer at Pine Rivers Community Legal Service. She is also a mentoring co-ordinator for Out for Australia, which supports and mentors aspiring Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer (LGBTI) professionals in the early stages of their careers.
Charlotte was the winner of the Queensland Golden Gavel People's Choice Award in 2015, a public speaking competition for young lawyers.
