Craig Parrish is a superannuation and insurance Associate practising in Maurice Blackburn’s Melbourne office.
Craig graduated from La Trobe University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Psychological Science. He first joined Maurice Blackburn as a seasonal clerk in 2009 and started his legal traineeship in 2011. Craig was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2012.
Craig helps workers by providing advice and conducting litigation regarding superannuation and insurance claims. He is passionate about getting a fair outcome for his clients by pursuing all statutory and common law entitlements, while providing clear and honest advice throughout the process.
“I was attracted to practicing law because I knew it would enable me to advocate on behalf of those who really needed it; those who had been poorly treated and now find themselves caught up in a complicated scheme, and to actually make a tangible difference to their lives,” says Craig.
“The most rewarding aspect of working in this area of law is knowing that my clients are placing their trust in me as I help them to understand and navigate the complex legal system towards the best possible outcome.”
Craig has previously volunteered at the Mental Health Legal Centre, the Whittlesea Community Legal Centre, the Diamond Valley Legal Service and Victoria Legal Aid.
He is also a passionate supporter of the Melbourne Football Club.
