Fran Bolger is a financial advice disputes lawyer in Maurice Blackburn’s Greensborough office. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Laws and is RG146 compliant for general advice in superannuation.

After training in commercial law, Fran worked for eight years in the Investments, Life Insurance and Superannuation section of the Financial Ombudsman Service and Financial Industry Complaints Service. She joined Maurice Blackburn in 2014 as a lawyer in our superannuation claims and financial advice disputes department.

Fran is highly experienced in investigating and resolving disputes between consumers and financial services licensees in financial advice, investments and life insurance disputes. Deeply committed to the principles of social justice, she is particularly determined to achieve restitution for people negatively impacted by negligent financial advice.

“After working for many years in the Ombudsman’s office, I chose to move into client law as I wanted the opportunity to use my skills and experience to assist clients seeking a review of financial advice and appropriate compensation through the Commonwealth Bank Open Advice Review Program and the Macquarie Equities Limited Compensation Scheme,” says Fran.
