Jane Garnett is a Lawyer at Maurice Blackburn’s Frankston office. Jane joined the firm in 2012, initially working in the Asbestos and Occupational Disease department for six years, before transferring to the Frankston office to work in the area of Road and Work Injuries.
“I am passionate about ensuring injured people are aware of their rights and entitlements. I understand that the claims process can be complex and overwhelming but I am driven to assist my clients to get full access to their entitlements under the WorkCover and TAC schemes so they can focus on their health and rebuilding their lives for the future.”
Jane is empathetic and compassionate in her approach. She prides herself on providing her clients with clear advice and realistic expectations about outcomes and timeframes. Jane has a strong interest and commitment to social justice, including her volunteer work with a number of community legal centres including the Mental Health Community Legal Centre and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
