Kate Sedgwick is a personal injury compensation Associate in Maurice Blackburn’s Craigieburn office. Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws with a major in Economics.
Kate helps people in the northern metropolitan area of Melbourne with their TAC and WorkCover compensation claims and common law entitlements.
Kate has helped hundreds of people injured in workplace and motor vehicle accidents to pursue their legal entitlements in and out of court.
Kate is a driven, warm and creative lawyer. Kate commenced working in Maurice Blackburn’s Geelong office in 2010 before moving to Maurice Blackburn’s Greensborough office in 2015.
Since commencing her employment with Maurice Blackburn, Kate has enjoyed working to educate her clients, the health profession and the wider Geelong and Greensborough communities about people’s rights and entitlements under both the TAC and WorkCover compensation schemes.
Kate feels privileged to represent people from all walks of life during some of their most challenging moments.
Kate has also been involved in organising Maurice Blackburn’s annual Women’s Network event, ‘Diamond in the Rough’ for the past four years in both the Geelong and Greensborough communities. These networking events have supported Diversitat, AMES Werribee and Whittlesea Community Connections to deliver important services and programs to those in need.
