Kathleen Sheehy is a class actions Associate in Maurice Blackburn’s Melbourne office.

She is currently working on the Murrindindi-Marysville and Kilmore East-Kinglake bushfire class actions.

Kathleen graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University, and it was her natural inclination toward helping others in the community that drove her to pursue compensation and class actions law.

“It is rewarding that my theoretical knowledge and skills can be used to inform people about their rights and what they are entitled to. Achieving fair outcomes for honest and hardworking people that have been wronged in some way is what keeps me motivated,” says Kathleen.

“I am inspired by the incredible lawyers and leaders in the firm who have the true Australian spirit of helping a mate out and have a vision of making our community a better place.”

Kathleen is currently on parental leave.
