Kip Frawley is an experienced road accident and workplace injury compensation lawyer in Maurice Blackburn’s Wangaratta office. He helps people with WorkCover and TAC claims if they are injured at work or on the roads. Kip also sees clients in our visiting office in Wodonga.
Kip grew up in Wangaratta, and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University in 2016. He joined Maurice Blackburn first as a paralegal and started in our Wangaratta office in early 2017.
Being firmly committed to social justice and obtaining meaningful outcomes for injured clients has been central to Kip’s approach to his studies, and it is now a focus in his work and life. He has previously worked at Legal Aid ACT and the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency in Darwin.
“What’s important to me is ensuring injured individuals get the necessary medical treatment and compensation they need to move forward with their lives," says Kip.
“The most rewarding part of my work is providing access to justice for those who are unable to assist themselves due to their injuries, impairment or limited understanding of how the appropriate compensation schemes work.”
Outside of work, Kip is a regular volunteer at the Hume Riverina Community Legal Service, and describes himself as a “mad Richmond Tigers fan”. He also enjoys as many outdoor pursuits as he can in North East Victoria.
