Kyle Peart-Corr is a Workplace Injuries Lawyer at Maurice Blackburn’s Melbourne office. Kyle was driven to the law by a desire to help make a positive change. He strongly believes that the law can and should be used to help improve the lives of everyday people and is driven by a desire to serve the community.
“I am driven by a desire to help everyday people navigate the complex WorkCover system and achieve the best possible outcome. Too often I see clients who have experienced traumatic incidents pushed into even worse circumstances by the confusing WorkCover jurisdiction. Being able to ease the stress of my clients and help to empower them to access their entitlements is one of my favourite parts of the job.”
Kyle started at Maurice Blackburn in 2017. He also gained experience as a paralegal assisting clients in the area of disability discrimination, and spent time as a legal intern at numerous organisations dedicated to helping marginalised and disenfranchised members of society. This includes Hepatitis Victoria, Victoria Legal Aid and the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law. He also spent time as a research assistant at Tilburg University in the Netherlands as part of a team that filed a constitutional petition to the High Court of Kenya in relation to a refugee who died in detention.
