“I am proud of Maurice Blackburn’s commitment to excellence and delivering assistance to people who are in need,” says Leah.
“The asbestos diseases department is able to provide some financial assurance for clients suffering from devastating asbestos-related diseases, and their families. I was drawn to the department because of the tangible help that can be provided, usually in a relatively short period of time.”
Leah is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia as well as English, and she finds great reward in developing relationships with diverse clients, as well as being given the opportunity to understand a small part of her client’s lives and their stories.
“I am inspired by the people that I am able to assist. Facing an asbestos-related disease is devastating for our clients and their families. To be able to provide meaningful assistance to that person during a very difficult time is enormously fulfilling.”
