Patricia McMullan is a class actions Associate in Maurice Blackburn’s Melbourne office. She is among a team of lawyers who are administering the settlement of the Kilmore East-Kinglake and Murrindindi-Marysville Black Saturday bushfire class actions.

Patricia holds Honours in Laws and Bachelor of Arts, and is driven to use the law to improve the lives of injured people.

Patricia’s background as a personal injuries lawyer puts her in a strong position to assess the damages owed to group members injured in the fires.

“One of the big challenges in personal injury is distilling a complex insurance scheme into everyday concepts and empowering people with this knowledge,” says Patricia.

“I feel privileged that I can ease some of the harm done to injured plaintiffs – I went into law to help people and that is what I can do in this role.”
