Ruby Heffernan is an experienced road and work injuries lawyer in Maurice Blackburn's Frankston office. Ruby began her legal career with Maurice Blackburn in 2015. Since then she has worked across Comcare, WorkCover, TAC, Employment Law cases and most recently as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Forbes at the Supreme Court of Victoria (July 2019 – March 2021).
"My caring nature and love for helping people improve their lives led me to work in personal injury law. Navigating the legal system can cause people, who are already struggling with an injury, a lot of distress. I am committed to taking stress away for my clients – as much as possible – so they can focus on their recovery. I am humbled that my clients allow me to help them through what is often a very difficult time. This drives me to work hard to ensure I get my clients great results."
Ruby is a caring and determined lawyer. She examines each case thoroughly to maximise compensation and build the strongest case possible. Ruby is also committed to supporting her clients outside of the legal process. And where possible she connects clients with services and people in the community who can provide additional assistance and support.
