Sebastian Rogalski is a lawyer in Maurice Blackburn’s Maroochydore office on the Sunshine Coast.
He has a double degree – Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business majoring in accounting, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology.
After working in other Queensland firms as a legal assistant, paralegal and lawyer, Sebastian joined Maurice Blackburn in May 2018.
Sebastian has always been passionate about helping people. He brings a compassionate approach to his clients and appreciates the pressure of living with chronic pain.
“During my earlier years, I injured my right shoulder. This period of my life was very emotional and debilitating as I suffered from pain for more than five years before finally undergoing surgery. This experience has provided me with an insight into the emotions, unique challenges and stressors associated with personal injuries. I’m driven to fight for the desired outcome for each and every deserving client. I find it extremely rewarding when I deliver these outcomes for my clients.”
Sebastian was inspired to pursue his legal career after listening to lawyers explain how their work positively impacts the ordinary lives of others.
“An injury has the ability to ruin an ordinary person’s life. For this reason, it is very rewarding to stand up for the individual and fight for what is truly fair - particularly in circumstances of power imbalance.”
In support of the wider community, Sebastian also provides free legal advice at the Suncoast Community Legal Service.
Sebastian is fluent in Polish and has working knowledge of the written language.
