Tabetha Hilliard is an experienced compensation lawyer in Maurice Blackburn’s Maroochydore office on the Sunshine Coast.
She acts for people who have suffered an injury, illness or disease due to their work, on the roads or in public places. Tabetha is committed to achieving the best possible results for her clients and works to ensure that every client has access to their entitlements.
After a career in finance and accounting, Tabetha studied law at Central Queensland University. She graduated in 2015 and was admitted to practice the same year. Tabetha was awarded the Una Prentice Award for being the highest achieving Bachelor of Laws graduate female law student at CQU. She was also honoured for her academic performance at the Queensland University of Technology while studying for her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Described as hardworking, passionate and friendly, Tabetha has an ability to engage with clients, and understand and have compassion for their sometime debilitating, life changing injuries.
Having a passion for social justice is a strong motivating factor for Tabetha to strive hard for her clients.

Outside of work, Tabetha is a volunteer lawyer at the Suncoast Community Legal Service, where she is also a committee member.
