Teagan Lewis is an Associate in the Class Actions department of Maurice Blackburn's Brisbane office.

Teagan was inspired to study law by a desire to help injured and disadvantaged people obtain the assistance and support they needed to recover. Teagan started her career with Maurice Blackburn in the same year as she began university, working in administration roles until she obtained Bachelor degrees in Business and Law (with Honours). In addition to practising in personal injury law, Teagan is experienced in representing victims of institutional abuse, and is passionate about fighting for justice on behalf of her clients.

“The most rewarding part of my job is when a client tells you that you have made what was a trying time a little easier to deal with. I am inspired by the adaptability of my clients who show real resilience when adjusting to life with a permanent injury,” says Teagan.

“I'm continually motivated by the resilience shown by my clients, who are not just struggling with physical pain, but are often experiencing substantial job and family impacts as well. Being able to lighten the load really means something for me.”

Teagan is active in the local community, and enjoys volunteering her services to help people in the Moreton Bay area.
