A highly qualified Human Resources professional with 20 years’ experience, Susan possesses a significant skill set including training design and development, business and process development, and people development; as well as organisational and project management skills.
Susan is passionate about fostering a learning culture within the firm, believing that a real engagement with personal and professional development has a positive impact not only on people’s work, but also on their personal lives as well. Her leaning and development philosophy is about empowering people to develop and use skills and strategies that enable them to shape their behaviours and achieve their goals.
“It is inspiring to see people make changes in their work and personal life for the better as a result of learning programs or interventions that have been implemented in the workplace,” says Susan.
Susan is engaged in developing purposeful formal and informal education programs for the workplace that contribute to individual and organisational resilience, engagement and alignment with our firm’s principles. She has been particularly successful in creating and implementing programs that give people practical skills and implementable strategies to make improvements in the way they do things; thereby having a positive impact on themselves, and on the people around them in their day-to-day interactions.
Susan chose to work as a learning and development practitioner because of the many opportunities afforded by the role – small and large – to help improve work practices and to implement strategies that improve people’s personal and work life, and that help give people work-life harmony. She is committed to making a difference to people’s success with their work, as well as outside their work, and helping them achieve learning and career goals.
