Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Bachelor of Laws, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Master of Laws (applied Law) majoring in Estate Planning and Wills and Estates.
“I started my career as a general practice lawyer and worked across many different areas of law,” says Laura.
“I soon realised that Wills and estates law gave me the opportunity to help clients find solutions that achieve their goals and resolve the concerns that are most important to them.
“Wills and estates is an area of law that is likely to impact everyone at some point in their lives and it is satisfying to be able to help people navigate the necessary legal processes.
“If you get advice on your estate planning, it brings peace of mind and allows you to make informed decisions around the management and distribution of your estate.
“Death of a loved one is often the most challenging time, and I understand the need to work hard to assist clients with the difficult issues in a way that is sensitive and appropriate to their specific circumstances.
“I recommend that it is practical to have your Will and Powers of Attorney documents sorted out so that you get to decide who will be in charge, and your loved ones are not left struggling to work things out in a crisis.”
Laura is also a volunteer supervisor at Springvale Monash Legal Service, where she has an opportunity to advise clients across many areas of law.
