“I am committed to assisting injured workers understand their entitlements under the workers’ compensation scheme, including common law rights, permanent impairment claims and disputes regarding weekly payments and medical expenses, and achieving the best result possible,” says Rhiannon.
Rhiannon worked as a legal assistant in the WorkCover department of a major plaintiff law firm and found the role so rewarding that it cemented her desire to study law and become a plaintiff lawyer. As they say, the rest is history. She completed her law degree with Honours and was admitted to practice law in 2007.
“I find it rewarding to practice in an area of law where I am able to assist everyday people who are struggling due to an injury and hopefully make things a little easier for them and their family at a time of need."
Rhiannon joined Maurice Blackburn in 2013. She is passionate about access to the law for everyday Australians.
Rhiannon is currently on parental leave.
