Elspeth Ledwy is a senior associate and the regional office leader at our Mackay office. She works within our Road Accident team, Work Injury team and Public Place Injury team. With over 20 years’ experience representing clients in regional and remote Queensland, Elspeth prides herself on being a strong advocate for those who have suffered harm as they navigate the complexities of the legal system.

In 2024, Elspeth was featured in the ‘Year 101: Women in Law’ campaign, which highlighted and celebrated outstanding Australian female lawyers.

Elspeth’s family are long time Mackay locals and she chose to return to Mackay after studying her undergraduate degree in Economics and Law in Townsville so she could be closer to home. After returning to Mackay she completed her Masters in Law in 2007 through Queensland University of Technology.

Ensuring her community in Mackay, the Whitsundays and the Central Highlands has the highest quality legal advice and representation available is the fundamental reason Elspeth enjoys practising in the Mackay region. She is dedicated to ensuring regional Queenslanders are guaranteed the very best client care and access to justice.

Elspeth holds a deep connection to the Central Highlands Region after marrying a Clermont local and her and her family enjoy visiting their second home, as often as they can.
