Louis holds a Bachelor of International Business and Honours in Laws from Griffith University. He began his legal career with our firm as a paralegal and trainee lawyer before being admitted to practice law.
Louis describes himself as an easy-going, down-to-earth person who takes great pride in his work. He became a lawyer to help people in his community.
“Every day I encounter people who are faced with incomprehensible difficulties, a great many who have lost faith in a system which, ironically enough, is designed to help them,” says Louis.
“I deal with a number of clients who have suffered very severe injuries, often catastrophic and quite tragic.
“While the diversity and complexity of the work are attractive features, they often translate into very difficult cases. There is no such thing as an “easy” or “clear-cut” medical negligence claim, and the emotional aspect of each matter presents its own challenges.
“I often find myself astounded by their resilience and mental toughness and, most of all, their ability to keep going in the face of adversity. They demonstrate a fortitude which I have rarely seen outside of my work, and it’s that which pushes me to achieve the best for them.”
In his spare time, Louis enjoys playing golf and writing short stories.
