Since joining Maurice Blackburn in 2021, Anthony has worked on a range of complex and high-profile class actions, including shareholder and mass tort negligence claims. He is passionate about helping individuals and institutional clients navigate the complex class actions regime and ensuring that the law is accessible to everyone.

Anthony also acted in a shareholder class action against BHP Group Limited, which alleged that BHP had knowledge of the Fundão dam being at risk of failure, and that it was aware a failure would likely result in serious adverse human, environmental and financial consequences. The BHP Class Action settled for $110 million on the same day the trial was set to commence. This settlement is among a small number of Australian shareholder actions to have resolved for more than $100 million.

Anthony previously worked as part of the settlement administration team in several major class action settlements, including the Queensland Floods class action (mass tort negligence), and shareholder class actions such as the Crown (China Arrests), ABL, Pitcher Partners, Woolworths and SGH class actions.
