Gabriella Boyd

Gabriella joined Maurice Blackburn in 2025 after spending over 10 years at another Melbourne law firm. She studied at Monash University and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Bachelor of Arts, a Diploma of Languages (German), and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Gabriella is an experienced and compassionate lawyer, who values kindness and honesty. She recognises that Maurice Blackburn's clients come from a broad and diverse range of cultural, linguistic, and economic backgrounds, and strives to personalise her approach to suit each client's needs.

Her well-established history of supporting injured people in navigating the TAC scheme means that Gabriella is well-placed to help clients secure compensation after a transport accident.

Recognising that one of the most important aspects of a positive lawyer-and-client relationship is good communication, Gabriella uses a trauma-informed approach to all client interactions and strives to explain the legal process as clearly as possible so that clients know what to expect.

Helping vulnerable people is at the heart of what we do and knowing that I'm making a real difference to people's lives is what inspires me to fight hard for the best possible results for my clients," says Gabriella.

When not at work, Gabriella is an active volunteer with several different community-based not-for-profit organisations, particularly those with a focus on rainbow communities.

Gabriella is also an animal lover, and in her spare time she enjoys taking her rescue greyhound for daily walks and cuddling with her cats.
