Danny Frigerio

Danny is a fourth generation Bendigonian with a lifelong affinity for regional Victoria. He comes from a proud trade union background with both his grandfather and father being involved in the labour movement and social justice causes. He also worked for the retail union, the SDA, prior to commencing his legal career with Maurice Blackburn in 2000.

In 2010 he established an office in North East of Victoria, and in 2019 he opened the 33rd office for the firm in Bendigo, his home town, to extend the reach of access to justice for regional Victorians. He also works in Mildura and is committed to ensure that Victorians are not disadvantaged because of where they live.

In 2016 he was awarded the Law Institute of Victoria’s Regional Lawyer of the Year, and the Australian Lawyers Weekly National award for Regional Lawyer of Year. In 2018 he was awarded a recommendation from the Doyle’s Guide for acting for Plaintiffs in Workers Compensation matters.

He practices in all compensation matters and specialises in Workers Compensation and Road Accident Injuries, and has litigated in all Victorian jurisdictions for 20 years. He has mentored many lawyers inside and out of the firm, and has volunteered in a number of capacities in the community over the span of his career.

He is a proven communicator, and strives to be accessible and approachable to all his clients and colleagues.
