Kirsten was the instructing solicitor acting on behalf of Michael Stewart in obtaining the landmark High Court Decision: Stewart v Metro North Hospital and Health Service (B10-2025) [2025] HCA 34.pdf, demonstrating her experience in high-profile, complex litigation. She has also litigated in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, and the High Court.
Kirsten is a committee member of the Far North Medical & Legal Society Inc and member of the Medico-Legal Society of Queensland and Women Lawyers Association of Queensland.
She was included in the 2025 and 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia® for Medical Negligence. She has also been recognised in the Doyles Guide Leading Medical Negligence Compensation Lawyers in the preeminent category in 2025, along with recognition in the Doyles Guide in 2024, 2023 and 2020.
