Ross holds a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction from Deakin University and a Diploma of Counselling and Applied Social Science from the Australian College of Applied Psychology. He joined Maurice Blackburn in 2016 and was admitted to practice in 2023.
Since joining the firm, Ross has worked in several practices, including WorkCover and Public Liability.
In 2019, Ross joined the Asbestos and Dust Diseases practice, developing a particular interest in WorkCover compensation claims for sufferers of non-asbestos occupational diseases, including occupational asthma, silicosis and autoimmune conditions such as scleroderma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sarcoidosis and lupus.
Ross also acts for clients who have been diagnosed with asbestos-related diseases, including mesothelioma, asbestosis, asbestos-related pleural disease and lung cancer.
He has a genuine interest in assisting clients to navigate the claims process, which is often a very difficult and challenging experience, on top of everything else they are already managing. His background in counselling and applied social sciences supports his empathetic and client-focused approach.
