Erin Morton

I am committed to helping my clients navigate hardship and disadvantage and always advocating for positive changes to my client’s circumstances as well as broader changes in legal policy and systems."

Erin has been working in the legal sector in the Top End of the Northern Territory for several years, predominantly in roles with a strong social justice sector focus. Before commencing with Maurice Blackburn's Darwin office, her previous roles included working at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency as a Managing Criminal Lawyer and as a Senior Policy Lawyer at the Attorney-General's Department. She is an experienced advocate and litigator who has travelled to and worked with vulnerable clients across many remote communities in the Top End. She has a strong background in court, having appeared regularly in the Youth, Local and Supreme Courts across the NT.

Erin is passionate about equal access to justice and quality legal representation for everyone. She joined Maurice Blackburn because of the firm’s values of ensuring the very best client care.
