Jane Garnett

Jane joined the firm in 2012 and has practised in both the Road and Work Injuries and Asbestos, Silica and Occupational Diseases departments. She has worked exclusively in the Asbestos, Silica and Occupational Diseases department for over 11 years.

Jane specialises in the following:

• Asbestos-related diseases, including mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis and asbestos-related pleural disease
• Silica-related diseases, including lung cancer, silicosis and autoimmune conditions such as scleroderma
• Occupational diseases, including cancerous diseases such as bladder cancer, blood cancer, lung cancer and kidney cancer, and non-cancerous diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Jane is empathetic and compassionate in her approach. She prides herself on providing her clients with clear advice and realistic expectations about outcomes and time frames.

“I am passionate about representing clients who have been diagnosed with asbestos, silica or other occupational diseases. My aim is to assist clients in navigating the claims process so that they can focus on their health,” says Jane.

In her spare time, Jane enjoys spending time with her family, running and exploring the great outdoors.
