Sarah assists clients who have been injured at work, in a car accident or on public property to access compensation and exercise their legal rights. She has extensive knowledge of the workers' compensation, MACA and public liability compensation schemes. Sarah is passionate about achieving justice for her clients and is inspired in her work by the ability to give a voice to injured workers against large insurance companies and to fight for fair outcomes on their behalf.
“Being able to achieve great outcomes for clients and assist them on their road to recovery is very rewarding. The role of compensation is an important one for people who have been injured: it is the means by which their future wellbeing is secured,” says Sarah.
Sarah graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2011. She first joined Maurice Blackburn in 2010 as a seasonal clerk and then broadened her skills, becoming a research assistant in our library. Sarah commenced her traineeship with Maurice Blackburn in 2012, and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia in 2013. She relocated to our Darwin office in January 2016.
Sarah is committed to social justice and as is aware of the importance of being active in her local community.
