Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2012, Yuko worked as a paralegal in various areas of law. She worked as a plaintiff solicitor before joining the largest CTP insurer in Queensland, where she gained experience in personal injuries managing a large portfolio of claims for injured claimants.
Whilst working for the insurer, Yuko worked closely with injury management advisors to ensure injured claimants received the rehabilitation they required. This experience has allowed her to gain an in-depth understanding of the insurer rehabilitation process, enabling her to help clients access early rehabilitation - so they may achieve the best recovery outcomes.
Furthermore, Yuko believes that her diverse experience working for both plaintiff firms and an insurer allows her to have a more balanced approach when representing her clients.
Yuko prides herself on her technical and thorough approach to claims management and navigating the legal process. This is reflected in her passionate advocacy to ensure that her clients achieve the best possible outcome.
“I genuinely enjoy helping people. Whilst it is impossible to undo a wrong, it is tremendously satisfying to be able to ease some of their burden,” says Yuko.
