Connie Smith

Connie Smith is a Superannuation and Insurance Litigation Lawyer based in Maurice Blackburn’s Sydney office. She has worked in the Superannuation and Insurance team since 2019 and during this time has received exposure to a wide range of claims, including Total and Permanent Disablement, Income Protection, Death Benefits, Home & Contents, and Business Interruption insurance claims.

When deciding to practice law, the most significant driving factor for Connie was having the opportunity to give a voice to those in a legal system who may otherwise go unheard. She strongly values the right individuals have to access to justice, and has a particular interest in the intersection between mental health and the law.
