Jenica Lim-Young

Jenica is an accredited specialist in personal injury law with over 12 years of experience across a wide range of medical negligence claims, including those involving misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis, birth trauma and surgical error. She is an experienced litigator and negotiator and has successfully resolved a number of multimillion‑dollar cases for adults and children who have suffered serious injury or lost loved ones as a result of negligence.

Jenica graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Before joining Maurice Blackburn, she worked at the Eastern Community Legal Centre in Victoria and as part of the child protection legal team at the Crown Solicitor’s Office in New South Wales. She first joined Maurice Blackburn in the Melbourne office, where she represented workers in their compensation claims and managed the Comcare practice. She relocated to Sydney in 2014 to practise as a medical negligence lawyer.
