“When fairness becomes a privilege instead of a lived reality, something must change. That’s my job,” says Malou.
Malou is calm, strategic and highly client-focused. He translates complex WorkCover issues into plain English, builds trust through clear communication, and treats the solicitor–client relationship as a true partnership.
Malou is driven by a commitment to providing access to justice and a belief that legal outcomes should restore dignity as well as deliver results. Growing up in Melbourne’s west and working on social justice initiatives, he has seen how structural barriers and stereotypes can impact families and communities. That perspective fuels his determination to advocate for clients who may feel unheard, bridging the gap between the legal system and the people it exists to serve.
Outside his legal practice, Malou remains active in community development as the founder of a not-for-profit organisation that mentors young people and supports pathways that divert them from the criminal justice system.
In his personal time, he enjoys playing sport, making music, and spending time with friends and family. Looking ahead, he hopes to deepen his expertise in personal injury litigation and contribute to broader policy reform that strengthens access to justice.
