Nina Abbey is a Senior Associate in Maurice Blackburn’s Sydney Class Actions practice.

She is currently working on a claim on behalf of superannuation fund members alleging breaches of trustee duties in the implementation of the MySuper reforms by two trustees within the NAB Group. Nina is also working on the Foreign Exchange Cartel Class Action in relation to alleged illegal cartel conduct in the foreign exchange market in the period 1 January 2008 to 15 October 2013.

Nina graduated from University of Technology, Sydney with Bachelor degrees in Communications and Laws (First Class Honours). She is driven by a strong sense of justice and fairness and finds that working in class actions allows her to help to enforce the rights of people who have been treated unfairly or taken advantage of by those in positions of power.
