Sarah Sorrell

Sarah is approachable, dedicated and community-minded. She holds qualifications in Law, as well as International Relations and Languages.

"I wanted to work in an area of law that would allow me to interact with people from all walks of life on a daily basis and make a positive and direct impact in their lives,” says Sarah.

“It is rewarding to achieve good results for my clients and to know they have received compensation that they otherwise might not have had access to.

“Seeing the way an injury can affect every aspect of a worker’s life is challenging. However, knowing that my hard work and advocacy can make a really difficult time in someone’s life that little bit easier makes it worthwhile.”

When not at Maurice Blackburn, Sarah volunteers at the Bentleigh branch of the Peninsula Community Legal Centre and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre ‘Fast Track Clinic’. She also enjoys cooking up a storm in the kitchen and is a keen runner.
