Amy Williams is a Personal Injuries Associate and the regional office leader of Maurice Blackburn’s Darwin office. She helps people throughout the territory seek compensation for workplace, road and public liability injuries.
“I am passionate about ensuring that people who are experiencing disadvantage or hardship have someone on their side. I’m committed to seeing my clients get the best possible legal representation so they can get out of the hardship they are experiencing. Watching clients’ focus on their rehabilitation and recovery while I take care of the legal side of things is also really satisfying.”
Amy has been living and working in the Top End of the Northern Territory since 2014. She has worked in a diverse range of roles, all with a strong social justice focus. This has included working as a lawyer for Aboriginal Legal Aid services, representing clients with a range of legal problems including child protection, discrimination and social security. She has also spent time working for the Children’s Commissioner, protecting the interests of young people in the NT.
