Practice Area

Childhood abuse

Qualification(s)

LL.B (Hons), BA BehSc

Heather joined Maurice Blackburn in November 2018 after spending time with other law firms in Darwin and Perth. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science.

Heather has worked exclusively in personal injury and childhood abuse, helping survivors have their stories told and recognised.

Heather strongly believes that all survivors of child abuse deserve to be acknowledged and is honoured to use her platform to assist in such. She enjoys being a positive force for survivors in their journey for justice. She enjoys working with survivors and using the law to fight for them. It is important for Heather that each client feels supported and included during each step of their claim.

“I am humbled to be entrusted with my client’s most personal experiences and help them navigate a complex and often difficult legal system. I value the work I do representing survivors of abuse and fighting against the imbalance of power that saw survivors silenced for too long. I am proud of the work our abuse team does and the difference we can make for each survivor”.
