Anna Sullivan

nna was one of two instructing solicitors acting on behalf of Michael Stewart in the landmark High Court decision Stewart v Metro North Hospital and Health Service [2025] HCA 34, demonstrating her experience in complex, high‑profile litigation. She has appeared in matters before the Supreme Courts of Queensland and the Northern Territory, as well as the Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.

Having grown up in regional New South Wales, Anna understands that injured people in remote and regional areas can feel isolated and overwhelmed when seeking legal support. She is an empathetic and thoughtful lawyer who recognises the impact legal matters can have on a client’s personal, financial and family circumstances.

Anna’s advocacy extends beyond her legal practice. She was recently elected to the Epilepsy Queensland board, where she draws on her lived experience of epilepsy in her youth, alongside her passion for supporting others, to give back to the community.
